In mid-December 2017 it was announced that Channel 5's catch-up channel 'My5' would have a revised scheduled and be rebranded as '5Prime' from 16th January 2018. However, by 3rd January, the launch was pulled. Following a change of name to 5Select', the rebrand went ahead on Tuesday 13th February. Elements of the 5Prime branding - most noticeably the double diagonal - were retained, and indeed the shapes that would have made up the letters of Prime can still be seen in the idents.
